Plans & limits
There are two plans. Basic gets you a working portal for a one-time payment; Paid adds a custom domain and higher (practically unlimited) usage caps for a monthly or yearly subscription.
The two plans
Section titled “The two plans”- Basic, $9 one-time: not a subscription, a single payment at signup. It’s a small identity check that keeps the platform spam-free, and your forum is yours to keep afterward. Your portal lives on a subdomain of our shared domain.
- Paid, $99/mo or $990/yr: everything in Basic, plus a custom domain for your portal and team seats, question volume, and staff content caps that are effectively unlimited (see below for what “unlimited” means in practice). The yearly option is 2 months free compared to paying monthly all year, and you can switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time from the Billing page, see Manage billing.
Paying in INR? Checkout shows ₹999 for Basic and ₹9,999/month or ₹99,990/year for Paid, GST added at checkout.
You can upgrade from Basic to Paid at any time from the dashboard’s Billing page, through a secure hosted checkout; promo codes are supported at checkout if you have one. See Manage billing for where that lives and what it shows.
Limits by plan
Section titled “Limits by plan”| Limit | Basic ($9 one-time) | Paid ($99/mo) |
|---|---|---|
| Team seats | 2 | Unlimited¹ |
| Questions on your portal | 10,000 | Unlimited¹ |
| Storage | 1 GB (approximately 2,000 images) | 50 GB (approximately 100,000 images) |
| Custom domain | No | Yes |
| Page views per month | 100,000 | 1,000,000 |
Every plan shows a small “Powered by” badge on your portal. Neither plan removes it, and it sits in the same place on both.
¹ Team seats and total questions on Paid are marketed as unlimited, but each has a very high abuse-review threshold behind the scenes (in the thousands for seats, well past what any healthy portal would organically reach for questions) rather than being blocked outright. No real support team or genuinely growing portal comes close to that number; if you ever do, we raise it for your forum, never a surprise cutoff.
Page views aren’t metered per-tenant yet, so the numbers above are a stated allowance rather than something actively checked. That may change as portals grow, but we’ll always tell you first: no silent throttling, no surprise invoice.
Other limits (not shown above)
Section titled “Other limits (not shown above)”A few more caps exist behind the scenes as spam and abuse backstops, not marketed features: how many questions or replies an individual customer or staff member can post, active API keys, and outbound notification email volume. Customer-facing caps apply the same way on every plan, since a compromised or spammy customer account is a risk regardless of which plan you’re on. Staff caps (owner/admin/agent) only bite on Basic; Paid trusts your team and leaves them effectively unlimited. The finance role doesn’t carry a staff cap at all, it counts as a regular member for content purposes since it has no replying or moderating responsibilities, see Invite team members & roles. None of these are things a healthy, real portal would ever bump into; if one ever does, we raise it for that forum specifically rather than the whole plan. One more account-level backstop: a single dashboard account can own up to 5 forums.
What every plan includes
Section titled “What every plan includes”Neither plan gates the product itself. The differences are the numbers in the table above, plus the custom domain. On Basic and Paid alike you get:
- The full REST API and the MCP server, so scripts and AI agents can read and manage your forum, see REST API and MCP server.
- Structured data, sitemaps, canonical URLs, and share preview images, generated automatically, see How SEO works on your portal.
- Google sign-in under your own branding, and custom scripts for the analytics or chat tools you already run.
- The Analytics page, including the log of searches that returned nothing.
Your bill also doesn’t change with traffic. There’s no per-view, per-question, or per-conversation charge on either plan: Basic is one payment, Paid is one monthly or yearly price, and a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.
Trial and grace period
Section titled “Trial and grace period”Every new forum starts with a 7-day free trial at Basic-level limits, no card required, so you can try the product before deciding. Custom domains and other Paid-only capabilities aren’t available until you purchase a plan; the trial lets you set up and use your portal at Basic’s limits, not Paid’s. After the trial, there’s a 7-day grace period: your portal stays live and the dashboard shows how many days are left to choose a plan. We also email your forum’s owner and anyone with the finance role as the trial and grace period progress, so nobody is caught off guard. If no plan is purchased by the end of the grace period, the forum and its content are deleted. Purchasing a plan at any point, during the trial or the grace period, stops the countdown and applies that plan’s limits from then on.
